Monthly School Support
Needs at the school change over each of the three terms. As children come back to school, food supplies and learning materials are in high demand. A short time later children are fitted for new uniforms. In the rainy season there are trips to the clinic to treat malaria or other illness. Your regular monthly support is very helpful to us in meeting the changing needs at Mustard Seed Academy. At the right choose a support level from the drop down menu and click Subscribe.

Sponsor a Child (Day Student)
Over 90% of our students are either orphans or vulnerable (where is the next meal coming from?). The parents or guardians with whom they live cannot pay school fees. You can change the life of a child with your donation of just $180 per year that provides school fees, food, uniforms, and medical care. And the blessing will come flowing back to you! Ask our 225 current sponsors.

Sponsor a SAC Family Child (Boarding)
Sometimes a child at Mustard Seed Academy has problems at home that makes it impossible to keep living there. Families fall apart, members die, guardians leave the community. Tree of Life Ministries identifies such kids and enrolls them in the the SAC Family where they live during the school year. They are fed, provided with clean clothes, and live with other similar children in a safe environment under the supervision of a house mother. The single yearly payment of about $1 US per day takes care of it!

Sponsor a Teacher Annually
Mustard Seed Academy teachers are carefully chosen based on qualifications, prior experience, and demonstrated ability to work with children in a variety of subjects. Charles (left) is an energetic social studies teacher who works with the upper level primary children, and is an experienced coach for the Mustard Seed sports teams (track, soccer /futbol, netball). In his second year at MSA, he is hoping for an American sponsor. Your donation of $1650 per year pays his salary, housing & medical care.

Dorcus joined our school in November 2010 as a Primary 1 teacher. Shown here with her daughter Sophia, she is very friendly and has already gained the respect of her colleagues at Mustard Seed. Dorcus needs a sponsor, and using this plan you can pay a monthly fee of $140 to provide salary, food, housing and healthcare.

Donate toward RPU's most critical needs
A modest donation goes a long way in Uganda, and we are grateful for small or large single donations to meet our most critical needs. In the photo, the old kitchen (top center) is being replaced by the new kitchen (top rt) using interlocking blocks fabricated with a new environmentally friendly technology. It has been outfitted with high efficiency stoves that cut both pollution and fuel costs at MSA. Fast growing, hard playing children need new clothing and shoes each year. Your donation helps us respond to critical needs.

Capital Campaign for Mustard Seed Academy
Mustard Seed Academy houses its 8 classes and 300 children in temporary buildings on two campuses. One is leased while the other (the American Campus) is the site of the building program for permanent buildings that started this year. One building was completed in November 2010 and we hope the next will be ready for the new school year in Feb. 2011. The big building with classrooms and offices above will cost about $125,000 US--a bargain by todays costs here in the US. We use earth-friendly technology for building and will be powered by solar energy.
