Real Partners Uganda depends almost exclusively on volunteers. Volunteers serve on the Board of Directors, recruit sponsors, manage the organization, and carry out the day-to-day responsibilities. Some travel to Uganda to exchange ideas with teachers and staff of Mustard Seed Academy and Secondary School, to assist in the classrooms, to introduce programs, and to offer supplemental activities for the children (such as taking a class on a field trip to Lake Mburo National Park). Volunteer visits range from a week to a year, depending on the volunteer's interests and availability. Here are a couple of examples.
